Summary

ApplyCheck does not require an account and does not keep your documents. To produce results, the text of your documents is sent to the AI provider this website is configured to use: Anthropic (Claude API) or Google (Gemini API).

What we process

The CV and cover letter you upload, the job description you paste or import, any details you type into forms, and the content generated from them.

We also process technical data needed to run the service, such as your IP address, which is used briefly in memory for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

How your documents are handled

Uploaded files are validated and their text is extracted in server memory. Files are not written to disk or to a database, and they are discarded when the request ends.

We do not log document content. Operational logs record only technical information, such as the type of an error.

AI processing by Anthropic or Google

When you run an analysis or generate content, the relevant document text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API or Google's Gemini API, which processes it to return a result. Each provider handles this data under its own terms and privacy policy, which set out how long it is retained and how it may be used. Those terms can differ by plan, and on unpaid plans a provider may use content to improve its services. We encourage you to read them at anthropic.com/legal and ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms.

Data in your browser

Your workspace, including extracted text, reports and generated content, is held in your browser's session storage for this tab. It is removed when you close the tab or choose Delete workspace. We set one cookie to remember your interface language.

Imported job links

If you import a job posting, our server requests that public page once on your behalf. The address you enter is not stored.

Your choices

You can delete your workspace at any time, and because we keep no account or document, there is nothing further for us to delete. Avoid uploading sensitive details your application does not need, such as identity numbers. For privacy questions, contact the operator of this website.
